Love is not really something that Ami seems to consider a feasible option. In the anime, she at least idealizes of meeting a young Einstein and has a semi-decent friendship and even a few dates with Urawa Ryu in the first season of the anime, but this doesn't go any further, as far as we can tell. In the special 'Ami-chan no Hatsukoi' (Ami's First Love), Ami relates that she 'doesn't deal well with love letters', and becomes consumed with discovering the enemy which must be trying to get to her by sending her such things.
Love isn't really explored for the senshi other than Moon in the manga (as far as I recall), although in an alternate universe which Takeuchi-san wrote for a one off Ami had married a poor young doctor and had a child with him.
In PGSM Ami frequently states that she's no good with matters of love, and leaves Usagi's relationship problem to the slightly more expert hands of Makoto. There are rumblings and hints late season that she has feelings for Nephrite, particularly because she brings him over-cooked biscuits to eat, and helps him clean, and also that he might have feelings for her because he tries to find a gift to repay her kindness with, but the series ends before anything of that nature can really be resolved, and leaves the relationship rife for fan interpretation.
